ARO is a speculative design project that envisions a circular fashion brand
through a physical, interactive fanzine designed to eliminate the stigma of
second-hand clothing. Operating under contemporary retail codes, the publication
uses Y2K visual subcultures and analog gamification—like connect-the-dots and
data visualization—to educate consumers on environmental impacts.

Serving as a comprehensive exercise in sustainable branding and
editorial layout, the project features a multi-layered,
split-page catalog that allows readers to mix and match garments,
successfully bridging the gap between commercial appeal and
conscious activism.
